The 30-second rule that ended my morning anxiety.
01 · Mind
Morning anxiety is rarely about the day ahead. It's about not having decided what matters yet. Your brain spins until you give it a target. Decide one thing — just one — and the spinning stops. Try it tomorrow morning before you check your phone.
02 · Soul
You don't have to be "on" every day. You just have to be honest about which day it is. The day where you push, and the day where you rest. Both are sacred. Pretending the rest day is a push day is how people burn out at 32.
03 · Body
Can't fall back asleep at 4am? Stand up. Look at sunlight (or a bright light if it's still dark) for 30 seconds. The cortisol response from light is exactly what your morning brain is asking for. You'll either wake up properly or fall back asleep within 15 minutes. Both are wins.
04 · Action
Before you check your phone tomorrow morning, write down the one thing that has to get done today. Just one. If only that one gets done, the day's a win. Phone after — not before. See what happens by Friday.
That's today's email. Reply with what you're trying — it comes straight to me.
